The dominance of foreign workers in the fisheries sector in Indonesia is still high. From October 2010 until March 2011, the number of foreign workers reached 1199 people.
Based on the findings of the Audit Board in 2010, the number of foreign workers onvessels fishing in Indonesia is still above 70%. Whereas Act - Act No. 31 of 2004 onFisheries requires a maximum of 30%.
